Overview

We start the day early with a hotel pickup in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle from Dubai which drives you through the city and towards the desert region. Passing the barren land we take you through the ever-changing vistas of rocky mountain terrain to the blue harbours. The valleys and the mountains take you to the East Coast Hajar Mountains harbouring the fishing Dibba Harbour. The Arabian Peninsula is one of the most striking places and offers an amazing view of the gulf surrounded by bleak brown mountains.

On the way back witness few of the extraordinary canyons and head straight towards the local villages and visit the Friday Market on the outskirts of Masafi. Get enough time to browse through the stalls and purchase local items like aromatic incense burners, carpets and decorative pottery to take back home.

We next head towards the Oman Gulf and here you can sit back and relax for a while at a beachside hotel. Grab some lunch (at own cost) and take access to the beach for some time to cool off.

After the invigorating meal, we take you the UNESCO heritage site of the Al Bidya Mosque, one of the oldest monuments of UAE. An easy hike of the nearby hills will take you to observe few of the remains of ruined watchtowers and seep in the majestic views of the extensive mountains and the gulf.

Further down the coastline will take you to the Fujairah Fort which overlooks the Fujairah Emirate and a stunning oasis lined with date palms. The fort seems to change its colours with the various positions of the sun and is one of the oldest forts of the UAE. The return journey is as amazing as the morning one crossing through rugged landscapes and finally reaching your desired drop off location.

The market Located between the Hajar Mountains, and it is famous for its variety of goods sold, from fruits , vegetables and plants, to toys, carpets and pots. The Friday Market or Souq al Juma'a is especially known for its fresh and locally grown produce.

Al Bidiyah Mosque.

The Al Bidya Mosque is the oldest extant mosque in the United Arab Emirates or Fujairah. Al Bidya is thought to date back to 1446 when it was built into the hillside between the Gulf and the Hajar Mountains.

Khorfakkan Beach.
