This tour was a fantastic way to see Munnar and the surrounding areas in one day! The day was very long, so be prepared. Our driver and local guide (Zulfikar and Ramesh) were both very kind and helpful. The trek took us literally through the tea fields which was a unique experience and then we ended up having a snack with a great view of the Munnar Valley.

Highly recommend this tour! We were taken through the beautiful Kerala backwaters on first a houseboat and then a canoe. Our tour guide Meera was lovely and told us so much about the local area and wildlife. We stopped off at various islands and houses for demonstrations of things like how coconut fibres are turned into rope and how shellfish is processed in the villages. We were also provided with a lovely traditional Keralan meal and some snacks and tea. Everyone involved was so kind and our driver Firez was very helpful giving us advice about where to visit during our trip. If you’re in Kerala you should definitely book this trip - fantastic value for money! Make sure you bring some cash along for tips and in case you want to buy any snacks or goods on the way.
